Haivision’s Enterprise Video Solutions—Including the Haivision Media Platform, Makito X Encoders, and CoolSign Digital Signage—Now Accredited for Deployment by the U.S. Department of Defense
Haivision, a global leader in enterprise video and low-latency streaming solutions, proudly announces that several of its core technologies have received accreditation under the Defense Information Assurance Risk Management Framework (DIARMF). This authorization allows the deployment of Haivision’s IPTV, enterprise video (all-hands), and digital signage solutions across the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET).
This milestone builds upon Haivision’s earlier achievement—its 2017 DODIN Approved Products List (APL) certification—which confirms the company’s long-standing commitment to delivering secure, resilient, and high-performance video technologies to federal and military environments. Haivision’s solutions feature AES 256-bit encryption and are engineered for low-latency video delivery over challenging network conditions.
Accredited Haivision Solutions:
- Makito X Series H.264 and HEVC encoders
- Haivision Media Platform for secure enterprise IPTV and video distribution
- Haivision Media Gateway for bridging LAN/WAN video workflows
- Haivision Set-Top Box for decoding and display

Since its founding in 2004, Haivision has been a pioneer in secure video transmission and media workflow innovation.
“Security is a top priority for every government agency,” said Andy Vaughan, Executive Vice President of North American Sales. “This DIARMF accreditation reaffirms Haivision’s dedication to delivering secure, high-quality video streaming platforms tailored to the unique needs of federal organizations.”
Additionally, Haivision’s Makito video encoders are Common Criteria Certified, and Haivision remains the only vendor to provide both commercial-grade and airborne-ruggedized H.264 encoding with MISP and STANAG 4609 KLV compliance.
