VidOvation is seeking a motivated Government Sales Manager with 5+ years’ prior success selling broadcast television equipment to City, State, and Federal Government Agencies.

We are MOST interested in YOU if

  • You have a consistent track record of success in broadcast equipment sales.
  • You have a network of city, state, and federal government agency contacts and customers.
  • You have a network of three letter government agencies, military and armed services contacts and customers.
  • You are passionate about your customers and are willing always to propose the option that is best for them.
  • You love to make dozens of calls in a day leading to meaningful conversations.
  • You excel at generating and qualifying new leads.
  • Your forge long-standing customer relationships.

As the Government Sales Manager at VidOvation, you will directly interface with customers. While strong networking, presentation, and demonstration skills are important, most of your time will be spent calling and emailing prospects to qualify opportunities.

The VidOvation website and marketing department generates many sales leads. The Sales Manager is required to prospect, generate and qualify most new leads.

Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly quotas
  • Follow a consistent and measurable sales process
  • Collaborate on strategic discussions with company management
  • Business travel to customers and industry trade shows is expected to be about +50% of the time.
  • Setup and perform product demonstrations with minimal technical support.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of successful government sales experience
  • Experience with managing the sales process in a CRM, ideally Infusionsoft.

We know the biggest investment we can make is to our employees, so we provide

  • A base salary of $50K to $80K depending on the potential impact to the business.
  • Commissions based on profits.
  • A projected total compensation of +$150K.
  • Vacation of 2 weeks and 3 weeks for the first, and second years, respectively.
  • A 401K retirement plan with employer matching of up to 4% of compensation.
  • Access to health benefits with up to 50% company subsidy.
