The Auto Tracking Application enables the camera to automatically track the speaker or other specified persons during commercial presentations, lectures and other events. The application is installed directly into the camera, eliminating the need for a computer to operate the software. Because visual analysis is performed in-camera, the system achieves excellent tracking capability. This empowers shooting with a multitude of framing options—from full-body, upper body, shoulders-up and other viewpoints—as well as following the movement of a subject moving at speeds ranging from slow to brisk walking. In addition to framing a person in the shot, the camera, aided by its high-performance pan/tilt mechanism and the automatic tracking application, can smoothly capture movements of people with satisfying quality for video production. What’s more, the application features a breadth of adjustment settings such as “Composition,” “Tracking Sensitivity,” and “Priority Display Area.”
