Overview

The DRA-8902 is a high-end dual-channel digital video distribution amplifier that supports SDI data rates from 270Mb/s to 12Gb/s, as well as DVB-ASI and MADI signals. It uses the latest technology to achieve excellent EQ performance and supports cable lengths up to 200m at HD while still meeting critical return loss specifications up to 12G. Equalization and reclocking are performed on all common serial digital signals and each channel is fully independent and can run at different data rates.  The DRA-8902 can be configured and monitored via Dashboard, and LED indicators at the card edge show incoming video and data rate.

The DRA-8902 is available in 2-in/10-out or 2-in/16-out configuration, supporting up to 10 DAs per frame.  A front-end crosspoint allows for enhanced functionality:

• The dual inputs may be configured to feed two independent DA’s, or used as main and standby inputs in a single DA arrangement with auto-failover
• The outputs are user-assignable to either of the inputs, making it simple change the number of outputs distributed from either input
