Video Decoder for live low latency, broadcast quality streaming
The Makito X4 Decoder can receive up to four different 1080p50/60 HD streams, or a single 2160p50/60 4K UHD stream over IP – along with 16 channels of digital stereo audio per decode. Streams encoded with either 8- or 10-bit pixel depths and 4:2:0 or 4:2:2 chroma subsampling can be decoded and output as 12G SDI video for 4K content or HD video with up to four 3G-SDI outputs.
The Makito X4 Decoder can decode and output HDR video, with PQ or HLG transfer functions. For mission-critical video applications where low latency is critical, the Makito X4 Decoder can also be used to decode slice-based encoded video. It can be used to decode low-latency video streams from any Makito encoder including the Makito X4 Encoder and the Makito X1 Rugged.

Compatible with a variety of AVIWEST products and able to fit in the same chassis as other Makito X and X4 products, the Makito X4 Decoder provides a seamless end-to-end 4K over IP workflow at ultra-low latency. For mission-critical applications, slice-based encoding and decoding can significantly reduce latency even further.

web-based solution for centrally managing AVIWEST Makito X, X1 Rugged, and X4 Series of video encoders and decoders.
AVIWEST EMS significantly boosts operational efficiency by allowing you to monitor device statuses, assign tags to groups, and filter based on a device’s function or location. It also allows you to perform upgrades to individual devices or batch upgrades to multiple devices across different locations.
